Job Overview for l'Ephémère, our Food Truck - Guinguette
We are seeking an experienced and organized Managers to oversee our restaurant operations "L'Ephémère". The Managers will ensure excellent customer service, manage staff, and work closely with the kitchen team to create a seamless dining experience. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and a passion for cuisine and wine pairings and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the restaurant and food truck, ensuring high standards of service.
Lead and train staff, creating a positive and efficient work environment, fluid communication between kitchen and floor staff.
Work with the kitchen staff to develop seasonal menus and ensure food quality.
Assure upsale of wine to go for dining customers based on their experiences
Manage inventory of wine and consumables, budgeting, and financial reports.
Open, closing and management of the cash register and team accounts.
Manage the reservations via software, phone and email contacts.
Participate in special events.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
Strong wine knowledge, ideally with experience in biodynamic/organic wines.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of local cuisine and wine pairings.
Fluency in French and/or English is required.
