Position Statement:
The position of Procurement Buyer Food & Beverage for France will play a pivotal role in ensuring the corporation maintains a competitive edge across the category. The Procurement Buyer Food & Beverage will be a proactive self-starter, responsible for designing, developing, and executing category strategies, negotiation plans, sourcing events, and distribution arrangements. Building positive relationships with suppliers and fostering strategic partnerships to drive growth in HSM spend and revenue will be key aspects of the role.
In order to successfully fulfil this role, the Procurement Buyer Food & Beverage will:

• Lead and oversee the Purchasing and Supply Management functions for the designated category of spend within the specified functional area.
• Ensure procurement of products and services of established quality at the lowest total cost, in alignment with Hilton standards, operational needs, and purchasing best practices.
• Provide direct supervision and management to assigned reports, ensuring efficient operations.
• Work with and represent the Purchasing function with key stakeholders such as Finance & Operations.
• Offer functional and operational management to any corporate or cluster purchasing team, while also providing support to hotel-based purchasing resources across the region.

What does success look like for this role:
The Procurement Food & Beverage must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Experience in procurement and supply chain management (minimum 2-3 years), ideally across a significant multi-site or corporate estate in a hospitality environment
• Native French Speaker, ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Complete knowledge of food and beverage category, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Strong administrative & analytical skills
• Strong negotiation & communication skills
• Strong ability to work under own initiative and in a ‘hands on’ capacity
• Ability to visually evaluate specifications
• Minimum Master’s degree in Procurement
